Listen to “Season 2, Episode 3 – Prosecutorial Discretion” on Spreaker.

No charges have been filed in connection with Ayla Reynolds’ disappearance.

Wisconsin defense attorney Jessa Nicholson Goetz joins me on this episode to discuss the legal issues surrounding Ayla’s case.

Jessa has been voted by her peers at being among the top 5% of criminal defense attorneys in Wisconsin. Check out her podcast, “Getting Off”, which examines true crime from a legal perspective.

I’ve been binge listening to your podcast. Love it. That being said, I totally disagree with Ms Goetz regarding parents taking our life insurance for their children. I took policies out on all my children at 1 year old. Why, you say? Other than covering the expenses if God forbid something happens, my children can take over their policy once they are an adult. That does not mean I do not find Ayla’s dad purchase as suspicious. I just have issue with her generality.

I realize I’m extremely late in commenting on this podcast, as I just came across it. However, I wanted to say that I’ve been binging the episodes today and think it’s very well done. I also appreciate your thoughts on other podcasts, and found your discussion with Jessa incredibly interesting. Thanks for your hard work.
